‘The bows season ends with a loss of 2-1 to Cal Poly in the Great West Tournament


After surviving three eliminated games in a six -day stretch, the performance of the Hawaii University Baseball Team ended on Saturday By losing 2-1 to Cal Poly in the semi-finals of the big West matches.

Rainbow Warriors, with two wins to force a championship on Sunday, again entered the match against the wall on Saturday and came in the first stage. Ben Ziegler-Namawa delivered an RBI in the opening frame to lead to the UH to 1-0.

Freddie Freddie Rodriguez was sharp and kept the Mustangs through three locations without motion. But Cal Poly defeated in the fourth stage and scored two goals to score 2-1. Rodriguez went through six seasons of the season and provided only four beats in a solid match.

Hawaii threatened late and made the runners second and third in the ninth and ninth goals, but failed to deliver Mānoa’s last moment.

Josh Morano, the soothing Cal, took the company and scattered 6.1 goals from the house and scattered five strikes with two strikes to win the victory.

On Monday, with the ban on NCAA, this loss ended the Rainbow Warriors season in 35-21 and won the second consecutive year to 35 or more, a masterpiece that has not been done in 1992 in the seasons.

While this season ends a shorter title, it shows that it is progressing for Rich Hill’s coach and his program. Hawaii played a meaningful in May and reached the semi -finals of the conference in a large West West competition, an important step forward for a resurrection team.
